Rachel & Griffin Music Live Album Recording at The Blue Door
On June 7th, the nationally touring folk duo Rachel & Griffin Music—a married couple with a shared passion for storytelling and song—will be recording a live album and music videos at The Blue Door, located at 2805 N Mckinley Ave in Oklahoma City. This isn’t just another gig. It’s a milestone, a night that marks the culmination of years of hustle, harmony, and heart.
"The Blue Door is so historic. I feel like my last 8 years of playing music have led up to this," said Rachel Lynch.
In 2024 alone, Rachel & Griffin played 182 shows across the U.S., all self-booked and promoted. They manage everything independently: their own tour schedule, social media, content creation, and merch—all while keeping their music deeply personal and rooted in connection.
Both were solo singer-songwriters before meeting. Since joining forces three years ago, they’ve combined their voices and visions to become a duo that audiences across the country have come to love- not just for their harmonies- but also for the stories they tell between songs, many drawn from their travels and shared life. Following their social media accounts is like an adventure all its own. The quirky duo has so much fun doing everything that they do, and it shows in the way they live their lives and share it with the world. They are down-to-earth, compassionate and plugged into their community in so many different and varied ways. Be sure to look them up under ‘Rachel & Griffin Music’ and give them a follow.
The Blue Door show will feature never-before-heard material and is being professionally recorded to capture the warmth and energy of their live performance. It’s a love letter to the road, to their fans, and to the power of partnership—on and off stage. It’s a perfect story of grassroots artistry, local talent with national reach, and the kind of creative resilience that deserves a spotlight.
"It'll be a night of laughs, lyrics, and love," said Griffin Wade.
You won’t want to miss this unique and momentous show. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $20 in advance ($25 at the door) and are available at Griffin Wade and Rachel Lynch at Blue Door - TicketStorm.com.
"All I want to do is make people feel something. Lemme hear you laugh. Or shed a tear, I don't mind! Get into your emotions with us," said Rachel Lynch.
